Once Upon a Time...

The SMC story began with music. Experts in developing awareness for music projects from the grassroots level upwards, weʼve worked across Europe and the US to build some of the greatest modern acts. The radio, TV, press and online campaigns weʻve run have played a key role in developing acts like Nelly Furtado, Jay-Z, Janet Jackson and Sean Paul (to name just a few!).

The word spread, and soon we were getting calls from film studios asking us to market their properties as well. Just last year we worked on Notorious and 500 Days of Summer. This is still an important part of our company, and makes sure weʼve always got an ear to the ground in the entertainment world.

The Story, Continued...

Entertainment inspires emotion and loyalty, offers various points of engagement and has global reach - itʼs the perfect platform for connecting with people. Over time, we realized that we were in a unique position to help brands use music and film to do exactly that.
Thus, the SMC brand and entertainment matchmaking service was born. As our client list (Nike, Coca Cola, Logitech, Roberto Cavalli...) and proficiency grew, we realized that companies based in Europe and the US werenʼt the only ones that could use our help, and so we opened our offices in Asia Pacific and the Caribbean. SMC now operates across the globe, creating beautiful love stories between entertainment properties and brands.
